When I told me mom I was expecting...
When I found out I was pregnant with my first born, my mother was so excited ( grandmas 🥰). I remember she jumped out of the couch and immediately told me she had an album for me. She went on and told me how she spent hours creating this beautiful album cover. When I saw the album as she held it, i saw how gorgeous it truly was. The album was suppose to be images all of my childhood memories. Unfortunately, my mom was a very busy women with 5 children. She was unable to fill the album with actual prints. The album was very sad (it only had my newborn outfit). Looking back I am the 4th in line and as more children are born into a family, there always seems to be less and less images of them. (I understand as a mother we are very busy) Well I took that album and decided it would be a good memory to start creating images with my children in it.
Why am I telling you this story?
I have photography over 500 families/ children and I can't tell you how many times I have heard... I posted them on social media. 80% of clients have never printed their images. When the digital world changes again and instagram and facebook are no longer here... how will our children remember all the wonderful sessions we did for them to? (newborn, cake smash, family sessions and so on...)
I might be old (cough** early 30s) but do you remember MySpace? It is no longer here but what happened with all the images you posted and spent hours uploading... gone.
I would love for you to have premium quality prints that will last you decades from now- For this reason, I created package that include prints. I never want a client to walk out with just digitals.
